 Di ba dati MTh at TF ang classes natin? at walang class ng Wed usually? well, now UP Diliman will change the class sked.

Class sked will now be Tuesdays-Thursdays and Wednesdays-Fridays.

Mga faculty meetings, University Council Meetings, consultations, will now be on Mondays. I suppose the previous Wed classes will now be held on Mondays.

on a personal note: i'm still debating with myself if I should choose the WF or TTh class sked. I need to consider my Ateneo classes din (if I teach in Ateneo by then).  any thoughts?

4. Nag-shift ka ba o na-kick out [Did you shift majors/courses or were you a kicked out of your College]? nope. first choice ko talaga ang art studies kasi halos walang science subjects e hehehe

5. Saan ka kumuha ng UPCAT [Where did you take your entrance examination]? sa UP Diliman Engg

6. Favorite GE subject [General Education classes]? SocSci2 (nagka-boyfriend kasi ako dun, na-inlove ako talaga hahaha)

7. Favorite PE?  PE1 at Table Tennis, which i never enrolled in, kasi nag PEPE lang ako (placement exam), i passed both, so libre na ako ng 2 PE classes

8. Saan ka nag-aabang ng hot guys/girls sa UP [Where do you hang out to check out the hot babes/dudes]?  AS, FC, Lib, AS 101

9. Favorite prof(s) [Favorite Professors]? Dr. Brenda V. Fajardo (still very influential in my life), Bambi Moya, Dr. Covar

10. Pinaka-ayaw na GE subject [Least favorite General Education class]?  Math 11 na hindi ko kailangan, i took it 3 times, did not pass at all

11. Kumuha ka ba ng Saturday classes [Did you sign up for Saturday classes]? Yup, for fun

12. Nakapag-field trip ka ba [Did you join any field trips]? Yes, bilang student at bilang teacher. mula pagudpud hanggang paete hehehe

13. Naging CS ka na ba or US sa UP [Were you ever a College Scholar and or a University Scholar]? nung undergrad hindi. sa MA at sa Phd, let's just say ang GWA ko ay pang summa! IM A ROCKSTAR NERD 1st class!

14. Ano ang org, frat/soro mo [What organization, fraternity/sorority did you join]? -   UP Namnama (honorary member), UP LIKAL (pero wala na yung org), sorority secret hehehe

15. Dorm, boarding house, o bahay [Did you stay at a dorm, boarding house, or did you live at home during college]? Bahay. and then IPIL (nandun kasi jowa ko) at YAKAL (the best)

16. Kung walang UPCAT test at malaya kang nakapili ng kurso mo sa UP, ano yun [If you had your way, what was your dream course/major]? -  Psychology (at kung may Astronomy sana)

17. Sino-sino ang pinaka-una mong nakilala sa UP [Who did you first meet in UP]?  Nina Custodio, Daphne Gamboa, Peaches Gallegos, we sort of ot together because we were the smokers hehehe

18. First play na napanood mo sa UP? cant really remember, 1987 pa yun, pero memorable ang M.Butterfly with RS Francisco, crush ko siya nun kasi mabango siya at long hair

19. Saan ka madalas mag-lunch? CASAA, Vinzons, Rodics, green house

20. Masaya ba sa UP? Was and still is, the best time of my life. i am so lucky to be in UP. at bilang prof. sa UP, it's liberating to know that it does not matter who I sleep with at night, as long as i do my job during the day.  UP is home, then and now.

21 . Nakasama ka na ba sa rally? madaming beses. USC kasi ako nung 2nd year pa lang, and then Chair ng CAL Student Council (which we revived). kaya madami dami ding rally yun. even as a faculty join pa din ako sa mga rallies

22. Ilang beses ka bumoto sa Student Council? lahat

23. Pinangarap mo rin bang mag-laude nung freshman ka? hindi naman. pero gusto talagang mag student council at nagawa ko yun

24. Kung di ka UP, anong school ka? sa University of Chicago in Illinois. seriously. :)

The highlights of the Centennial Kick Off are the following:

1. Motorcade of the various constituent universities (CUs) starting from UP Manila and ending in front of Quezon Hall starting at 3 P.M;

2. Passing of the Flame around the Academic Oval at 5 P.M. to be participated in by 100
distinguished UPians as torch bearers.  The 100th torch shall be carried by President Emerlinda R. Roman who shall light a cauldron at the Oblation Plaza to mark the opening of our centennial;

3. A Concert featuring world-renowned performing groups (including Madrigal Singers and UP Concert Chorus) of the University at 7 P.M. at the Amphitheater;

4. Grand fireworks display after the concert.

The College of Fine Arts Lanterns shall once again be showcased as part of UPD's parade contingent. Faculty members, students and staff are encouraged to attend the Kick Off program which officially starts at 3 P.M.

Everyone is also urged to wear centennial t-shirt which can be purchased from the UP Alumni Associations at the Ang Bahay ng Alumni at telephone number 920-6875.
